We are two determined Adelaide women with the goal to bring music and fun to some special Children in Ethiopia!!
On March 2nd we are holding a Family Fun day to raise the funds to travel to Ethiopia in April 2014 and run a music program for the wonderful children in the Raey Centre. We would also like to take the Children from the Atetegeb orphanage on an all day excursion, because lets face it, all children should experience some fun!!

Having studied music at the Elder Conservatorium of Music and taken her Children’s show Noises For Kids to remote schools around Australia Cate personally knows the difference music can make. To orphan pre-school children in Ethiopia’s Raey Centre, who have experienced great loss and trauma, music can provide positive and fun ways to improve self-esteem, learning and confidence.
We have received overwhelming support from South Australian Primary Schools who have donated musical instruments and educational books for us to take to the Children in Raey Centre. Our next step is to spend a week in Ethiopia teaching the Children and volunteer teachers to play and care for their instruments.
Anna, a mother of two girls knows the value and importance of creating fun and positive memories in the lives of your Children. Our excursion day for the Atetegeb orphenage will be a fun filled full day adventure with hot meals and drinks for all the children.

Our Family Fun day features a show by Cate and her good friend Humphrey B Bear! as well as visits from some special Australian animals, face painters and some fantastic music talent!!

We are looking for support in the form of cash donations to reach our pledge goal of 1000 by March 2nd. This money will be used to transport music instruments to Ethiopia. All donations big and small would be greatly appreciated.
We know we can count on the generosity and spirit of our fellow Aussies families and friends!
Thank you so much in advance
Any extra funds will be put towards our total project goal of $8500

How The Funds Will Be Used

safely transporting musical instruments from Adelaide to Ethiopia and delivering to Raey Centre.

The Challenges

Freighting the instruments over to Africa without damage is a primary concern. For this reason a large part of our funds will go towards careful packing and making sure they are sent as oversize and fragile packages. This way we can ensure they get safely into the hands of the children who are incredibly excited to receive them.
