I've been invited to create paintings and travel to San Francisco to exhibit in a group show. As an emerging artist the project will allow me to produce a high standard of works to present on an international level for the first time with established and professional practicing artists within the field. The exhibition will consist of an opening night as well as a number of key artist talks by contributing practitioners during the opening week. This project will allow me the opportunity to create and establish new working relationships, as well as invite artists I meet to show at RAYGUN, Toowoomba which is a gallery I run with friend Ali Lawson. Thanks to Creative Partnerships Australia, every dollar you give will be matched up to $4000 through their Match: Crowdfunding for the Independent Arts Sector initiative. Creative Partnerships Australia, 

The funds raised through Pozible will cover flight, accommodation and travel expenses to and around San Francisco as well as contribute to materials and expenses involved with making a number of works which will be presented for curatorial purposes, and the chosen work to exhibit. 

I don't see any risks or challenges, other than covering the funding costs.
