Lesson Plans + Report
You get a digital copy of the research report that is an outcome of the project. The report will include: - the experiences of teachers using 3D printing - the experiences of students learning using 3D printing - lesson plans that were created as part of this project - tips and suggestions based on researching the project
Online 3DPrinting Seminar
Great for teachers outside of Victoria! During the project, George Aranda will use video-conferencing software to meet your teachers/school/group to talk about the possibilities of 3D printing and education. Based on the needs of your group, he can give a 45-minute presentation for beginners or something more advanced. He can talk about how your teachers/group might be able to use 3D printing.
3D Printed Object
3D printed objects will be used and developed throughout this project. At the end of the project we will offer you a choice of 10 objects used in/designed for this project, you will have the choice of one which we will send to you! Eg. animal skulls, DNA structure, solar system.
Research Symposium
You get to come to our Melbourne meeting (travel costs not included) where we will discuss the outcomes of the project, talk to our teacher(s) and see the 3D printers in action. (Symposium + Report + Lesson Plans + Resources)
3D Printing Workshop
George Aranda will travel to your Victorian school (or group) to talk about the project and offer PD about how your school could use 3D printing technology. (PD Workshop + Report + Lesson Plans + Resources)
