PICUS DICKUS: GENESIS
How It All Began
I was sitting having ice cream in Newtown with my girlfriends Amy, Rona and Anna on a Thursday night after dancing.
Naturally, we ended up chatting about dick pics. Together we came up with the idea that there should be more creative dick pics.
Like > If you are sending us a picture, show us you are fun, innovative and playful. But. Also. Show us your junk.
I realized "I know life models from holding life drawing. I could actually make this happen. I could make dick pics."
Amy thought this was fantastic and asked me to make it happen.
So far I have made 6 pictures over 2 shoots. They are up on the tumblr.

The blog brings a lot of people joy. Most people I show have a great lol and always ask me "How?!"
This kickstarter is a way for me to keep funding the shoots to make the pictures.

Why should I back this ridiculous project?!
This project combines 3 of the best things in the world.
Art. Puns. Nudity.
Our bodies are amazing. Including our genitals.
Let's celebrate how beautiful we are in our entirety and have a lol.
Also. The Romans used to hang penises everywhere. Why is that not a thing anymore? Can we start a "#bringbackthephallus" ?

How The Funds Will Be Used

What's My Budget?
Costs are:
- Model. Sydney Life Modelling Society recommends $30AUD an hour for life models wage. I can make 3 solid dick pic pun creations in an hour. That's a total model cost of $120AUD
- Props. As an illustrator I really enjoyed the challenge of trying to make all the set up in the photographs from found objects and props instead of drawing everything myself. Some of the things I have found on my dick pic adventures include the horse for the unicorn picture. And yes. I cut a hole in the side of it's face for that picture.
I have approximated $50AUD for props. I will definitely spend more than that, but I will pay for any additional myself.
- Calendar printing and binding costs. $15AUD for each calendar.
As each calendar costs $15AUD to make, I'll be making $10AUD off each calendar. To break even and cover the costs listed above, if 17 people want more dick pics in their lives I can cover the $170AUD I need for props and models.

This Kickstarter will end on the 2nd December 2015.
I have scheduled the following week to be free. If this project goes ahead I will smash it out every hour of that week to get the calendar complete and sent off to arrive to everyone before Christmas.
Shipping inside of Australia will be max 5 business days.
Australia Registered Post International most other countries is 3-10 business days.
So calendars ordered in Australia will arrive 13th December 2015 at the latest. Calendars being shipped internationally will arrive 19th December 2015 at the latest.

I will then photoshop a picture of one of the penises I have photographed onto your head, and email it back to you. -To order multiple calendars, add $25AUD for each extra calendar you'd like. CALENDAR + DICK'S REVENGE
One copy of the Picus Dickus A4 Wall Calendar. Plus. I will email (if the project is successful I will receive this) you & ask you for a photograph of YOUR ENEMY. I will then film myself photoshopping a picture of one of the penises onto your enemy's head while insulting them, even though I know nothing about them. The final picture and a private link to the video of your revenge taking form will be emailed to you. -To order multiple calendars, add $25AU for each extra calendar you'd like.
