And I post pictures (including MONGREL pictures) more regularly at

There are three parallel but converging stories in MONGREL. I know that's mathematically impossible, but well, there you go. Three tales, one common ending.
The first story concerns that group of literary and performing superstars, The Uncanny Expats, a group central to the secret superheroic cultural life of Australia. Dormant for about a decade now, a meeting at the Groucho Club in London is convened by Germaine (on the left) because David (on the right) has received a letter from someone whom everyone, including Clive and Edna (centre), thought did not exist.
The "Creatives" are the subject of story two: a young Melbourne couple and their couple of kids undertake the impossible journey - a family holiday. Will it break them? Will it make them? I happen to know that it will snake them.
The third story tells the tale of Salvation Jane, a young woman from Canberra who has given up on the accepted wisdom of post-university malaise and has gone into truck driving.
Each issue of MONGREL will tell another instalment in each of these tales, and weave them together by the end of the year.
Each issue will be A5 format and feature 8 pages of comics in glorious black and white.
