Synopsis
Peter has spent years protecting his only daughter Ginny from the painful truth of their past but when his estranged brother unexpectedly arrives with news that affects them all, the day that follows will unearth a secret long kept with tragic results.

Ricochet will be David's graduating film at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts.

His films from the past two years, include Joey & Tea For Two both of which are building a strong festival presence this year.

In 2009 David’s first film was an 18 minute short entitled ‘I Can Speak Swedish’ which he wrote, codirected and co-produced earned him worldwide recognition. Awards included ‘Best Comedy Short’ at the Academy accredited Rhode Island International Film Festival and ‘Best Short Film’ at the Canada International Film Festival. He has also garnered individual accolades too including ‘Best Director’ at the Nevada Film Festival, chosen from over 1000 entries.

Associate Producer: FRANK BRUZZESE

Frank is a Melbourne based Producer and Production Manager for both film and television. 

His short films, The Father (2011) & I Can Speak Swedish (2009) have won various awards and have screened at high profile festivals all over the world including the Melbourne International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival and Rhode Island International Film Festival.

For the past two years, Frank has worked closely with the ABC as a Production Manager and Line Producer on shows such as comedy drama LAID, John Safran's one off doco JEDIS & JUGGALOS and six part doco JUDITH LUCY'S SPIRITUAL JOURNEY.

Where the money will go -

Money will be channeled into practical costs of production, including gear hire, catering and some crew and cast, although many are dedicating their time and working for free.

With this initiative we aim to raise $2500 specifically to add to the $10,000 we have already invested. These additional funds will help ensure that the highest quality short film can be made.
