All is Well | A Short Film
The Story
Anth bhala, toh sab bhala!
Hindi Phrase; 'All is well that ends well’
All is Well is an upcoming short film that explores ideas of cultural identity, expectations, friendship, and self-expression through the lens of Sunita, a young Indian woman.
When a single phone call turns 24 year old Sunita’s life upside down, she is forced to address the cultural expectations of her parents and home country. In a moment of panic, she initiates a fake wedding to placate her parents who want her to return home and get married. However this plan has its challenges and may end up doing more harm than good. Will all truly be well?
Well... in order to answer this question, we’ll need your help.
As Sunita calls upon the support of her friends, Ana & Dave, so too are we calling for your support to bring this story to life.

THE CREW
Who are we? A crew of aspiring filmmakers currently improving our craft at the WA Screen Academy!
Budget Overview
With our goal of $3000 we are aiming to bring this story of culture, friendship and identity to life on screen. Through your support, and the hard work of our amazing cast and crew we will put any funds raised towards;
- Location: Setting the scene. Securing the right locations for this film will allow us to tell Sunita's story and emerse our audiences into the world.
- Costume, and Props: Who doesn't like planning a wedding, even a fake one? Well there is so much that goes into it! For this film to faithfully explore cultural identity our ability to secure and source appropiate costumes and props will be crucial.
- Film Festivals: It is our aim to share this story of culture, both through our time at the WA Screen Academy and beyond - and so ultimately we hope to enter our project into a variety of film festivals.
We encourage any questions on the reward tiers or potential for buissness sponsorship to be directed to our dedicated email: [email protected]
