I have been offered an opportunity to take a large solo exhibition of works from Tasmania to Torquay, Victoria in April 2027.

This funding campaign is going to help me answer the call, embrace destiny and fulfil this next part of an amazing quest. My hope is that you too will resonate with my intentions  for this exhibition. That the idea of raising a temple for the sacred feminine makes sense to you.  That you too see, feel and know how much the world, how much we, need her fierce, wise, loving benevolence right now. With your support we will all raise the temple and invite her into being. You will touch my heart profoundly and bless my work. I will receive all support with deep gratitude and to say thanks I have some amazing gifts on offer.

The exhibition is called Quest for the Sacred Feminine.  It is a collection of (roughly 50) works from a 20 year odyssey (up until now) in Tasmania questing to understand my relationship with the sacred feminine.
The Earth, the Goddess, the essence that creates and animates the web of life. 

The sacred within myself as a manifestation of Her magnificence and through me the beautiful work that I create.

The exhibition will be presented as a temple installation where the audience is drawn into a contemplation of the ancient ways of honoring the sacredness within all of life.  The sacred feminine is made manifest in iconography, form, symbolism and landscape.  It is a reclamation and empowerment of woman, a remembering of when women were temple priestesses and served their communities from a place of reverance and awe within the beauty of creation.

A rememberance of ancient times when we lived in community, peacefully with each other, with earth and all her creatures.

The intention for building the temple is to create a field of healing, restoration and inspiration for all who attend.  It is also a deliberate energetic manifestation of sacred energy as a blessing for the web of life itself.  My hope is that the reverberation of the vibration will infuse itself into the web of creation as a prayer of peace, beauty and hope for life.

My committment to this exhibition is an act of devotion.  A dedication to my mission.  The mission I have upheld my entire adult life. To raise up the feminine, to restore myself to her essence and to hold space for others to explore her essence within themselves.

I left Torquay (Bells Beach) to come  to Tasmania 20 years ago.   It is an honor and a priveledge to bring this work full circle to return home with all of this lived experience, wisdom and art work created within the magnificent wilderness of the island.

As part of the exhibition experience there will be weekly events held within the space.

The opening 17th April will be a celebration and activation of the field.

Following the opening weekend I will be presenting an artists talk, a women's circle, and a paint your sacred feminine soul workshop. 

These workshops entail a beautiful art filled safe space wherein the participants will take an experiential journey to realize the embodied essence of Her within themselves and then create her with paint on their own take home canvas.

When the show at Hoop Gallery in Torquay is concluded, the remaining work will be transported to Red Rock Gallery in the Otway region for a second installation. A smaller exhibition along with proposed Women's circle, Artist talk and Sacred Feminine painting workshop will be offered to the Otway community.

Beyond these plans I am open to touring the show and the workshops to other places and spaces when/if I am invited to do so. This is an ongoing personal journey for me, and one I am feeling destined to share with others.
