Help us rip Tony Abbott, Pauline Hanson, Donald Trump, John Howard & Cardinal George Pell a new one, showing them that when freedom fighters come together, LOVE TRUMPS HATE !

It was 2005 when Incredi-Joyce and the Incredi-gays made its debut in the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade. Back then, in our pursuit for freedom, our superheroes battled the evil forces of the day including John Howard, Amanda Vanstone, George W Bush & Arch Bishop Pell.

This year, although we’ve achieved so much, including Marriage Equality, there are still conservative evils trying to oppress our community & freedoms. So, to coincide with the 40th Anniversary of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras parade, we decided it was time to reprise our story, in an even more incredi-ble way! This year, with your support, we’re hoping to send our message to the world even louder and clearer… after all, love trumps hate.

Who are we?

We’re a group in the community who’ve come together to donate our passion, time, creativity and energy. Each marching participant is required to contributed financially, and many are donating countless hours and more. In addition to applying for a Google Mardi Gras Parade Grant, we’re now seeking your support in helping crowdfund the remaining $6000 in hard costs as outlined below...

What will my money go towards?

= Helping to create look alike villains.

= The hire and transformation of our truck & generator.

= Synchronised lighting & FX and booming sound to maximise our message.

= Pro labour we can’t get for free such as rigging, programming and specialty equipment operation.

= 48 Custom Incredi-Gay costumes.

= Signage and messaging support.

= Fees, rehearsal & preparation spaces.

= Plus a few exciting Mardi Gras firsts of which we’ll reveal on the night.

To make things fun, at each $1.5k crowdfunding milestone, the below participants have nervously agreed to be ‘Maynged up’ by our Incredi-leader herself for a special Facebook/Insta profile headshot, each with a completely different mop.
