Help us put Sweet Home Mulga Bore on vinyl!

We have just released our debut album Sweet Home Mulga Bore and we’re taking it on the road!

We’ve had lots of people asking us if they can get the album on vinyl, so we want to make it happen with a special limited-edition vinyl pressing.

Mulga Bore Hard Rock are six young Anmatyerre musicians from Akaye (Mulga Bore), a small remote community in Central Australia. Over the past few years we’ve taken our music from Mulga Bore to stages around Australia, writing, recording and performing our own songs along the way.

Sweet Home Mulga Bore brings those songs together for our first album.

We’ve also just finished making a new music video for one of the album’s key singles, Big Train, which will be released soon. It’s an exciting time for the band, with the new album, the upcoming video and shows around the country — and we’d love to have the album available on vinyl as part of it.

What we’re raising money for

Our goal is to raise $6,000 to help us produce a limited-edition vinyl pressing of Sweet Home Mulga Bore and create new Mulga Bore Hard Rock merchandise to take with us on the road.

Supporters can pre-order the limited-edition vinyl, grab a Mulga Bore Hard Rock T-shirt, or choose one of our special supporter packages.

By supporting the campaign, you’re helping us cover the upfront costs of producing the vinyl and merchandise — and helping us build a small supply of merch that we can continue selling at shows and festivals.

For an independent band travelling from a remote Central Australian community, merchandise is an important way of helping cover the everyday costs of touring, travelling and continuing to make and share our music.

A limited first pressing

This will be the first vinyl pressing of Sweet Home Mulga Bore, produced as a special limited edition.

We love the idea that the people who have followed and supported us along the way can be part of making it happen — and own one of the first copies.

If we go beyond our $6,000 target, the additional funds will help us produce more merchandise to take on the road and support the band as we continue touring and promoting the album.

Thank you to everyone who has listened to the album, come to our shows, followed our journey and asked us:

“When can we get it on vinyl?”

Hopefully very soon!

Mulga Bore Hard Rock

Our $6,000 target will help cover the upfront costs of producing our limited-edition vinyl and new Mulga Bore Hard Rock merchandise.

The funds will go towards:

    ●    Vinyl pressing – approx. $3,500

A limited first pressing of 150 copies of Sweet Home Mulga Bore.

    ●    T-shirt and merchandise production – approx. $1,700

Producing T-shirts for campaign rewards and creating an initial supply of merchandise for the band to sell at shows and festivals.

    ●    Pozible/payment processing fees and production contingency – approx. $800

Allowing for campaign fees and unexpected production, packaging and fulfilment costs.

Postage will be charged separately where required, so more of the money raised can go directly towards producing the vinyl and merchandise.

If we exceed our target, additional funds will help us produce more merchandise and support the band as we continue taking Sweet Home Mulga Bore on the road.
