It is fact: man can and does communicate with plant life. Plants are living objects, sensitive, rooted in space. They may be blind, deaf, and dumb in the human sense, but there is no doubt in my mind that they are extremely sensitive instruments for measuring man’s emotions. They radiate energy forces that are beneficial to man. One can feel those forms! They feed into one’s own force field, which in turn feeds energy back to the plant  - Marcel Vogel.

Welcome to our 2019 crowdfunding campaign for Plant Songs: The Secret Sounds of Plants to be held at Black Diamond Gallery, Port Adelaide, during the Adelaide Fringe 2019.

Since 2014 Sacred Resonance and guest artists have been offering free, public art installations, merging science and spirituality to raise and expand consciousness.

Our focus has been on innovative and interactive artistic collaborations exploring the human-technology-consciousness interface.

And this year is no different! In 2019 we offer an art installation that further explores our work in human-plant communication!

We are currently asking for just enough to fund the basic technology, botanical & marketing costs for Plant Songs ! If we go above and beyond our target we will be able to fund and sprout the visual art & more.

Join Sacred Resonance for this exotic multimedia installation that explores the secret dimensions of the Plant Kingdom.

Inspired by the book The Secret Life of Plants, technology is used to transform plants into musical instruments – playing sounds otherwise inaudible to the human ear.

Experience also a multichannel soundscape of frequencies found in nature and journey into the worlds of SuperNature.

Journey to the inner sound garden ! Plants are sensitive, in-tune, living beings. Plant Songs will allow us to give you an experience of the invisible sound spectrum of  "The Secret Sounds of Plants" augmented with botanical  film and visual art.

We are excited to be collaborating with, In Search of the Divine (Jessica Curtis ) with her stunning visual art exploring this secret plant world ! Jessica’s work will explore the hidden patterns, geometries and subtle energies of the Plant Kingdom and their intrinsic connection and effect on human consciousness.

 We are also excited to introduce SuperNature (Kenneth Scott) with his  stunning film work. Ken’s video art explores natural cycles in the the plant kingdom and their greater connection to the cosmos.

Within the installation one will have the opportunity to explore a series of plants linked with sensitive electrodes measuring the electromagnetic changes on their leaf surfaces. Through this multi-channel interactive experience and soundscape audience members literally become ‘plant players’ through their touch, proximity and creative interactions with the plants.

Data collected is converted into ‘plant music’ allowing the plant kingdom a special voice to communicate back to us through interactive biofeedback. Each plant reacts in a different way to stimuli and responds with its own unique intelligence. Like us, each plant has its own distinct voice!

The whole experience of the installation merging visual art, film and data collected from the plants aims to assist in starting a dialogue necessary to re-establish a balanced relationship between humanity with the greater environment, “giving nature the voice to speak”.

Two live shows incorporating live sounds of the plants:

Relax, unwind and be immersed in the presence of the sounds of plants! This unique, live sound bath performance incorporates the sounds created by plants, as well as relaxing, transformative music. The beauty and wonder of nature is showcased as plants are given a chance to sing!

Live performance lying on our yoga mats or in our seats for this unique and limited numbers performance.
