Hello, it's me again, bursting at the seams with new music to share. Since last we spoke, in this place, I, well you and I, have been able to do some pretty cool things! Firstly, you helped me partially crowdfund my last EP, 'Lonestar' and our little friend reached #8 on the ARIA Country Charts and bloody #1 (!!!!!!) on the Australian Independent Records Chart. 4 singles came off that record, all of them charted on the Australian Country Airplay charts, got featured on radio stations around the country (and overseas!!) and Country Music Channel. I toured the lands with some of my favourite people and got to meet so many of you wonderful, generous, hilarious souls.

And now I'm ready to do it all over again! I've been living a lot of life and scheduling in many recreational cries and highs, so I have more than plenty to write about. I'll let you in on a secret, I am the queen of self-doubt, my friends can give you literally thousands of references to this. Usually, I start to work on something, and I freak out completely and think that it's all shite and that 'I'll never write anything good or worth hearing again!' (with a lot of dramatics because Year 12 Drama Award Winner 2011) but this time is different. Maybe I'm older and more comfortable in myself or I've kicked that self-doubt demon in the metaphorical crotch. It could be a combo meal of those things, but I think most of all, this is the best stuff I've ever written, created and poured directly out of my heart and soul. I'm so proud of this collection of songs and I think its finally time to bring it all together for my debut album!

That's where you come in. I've been hustling hard to get this baby made, written grants (risky if any of them will come through), taken extra jobs (my time as a Christmas Elf wasn't as lucrative as I hoped), considered selling non-vital organs (Wendy will cry if I do this). But I still need something extra to make this and that is you! Think of it as pre-ordering an album I know you will love if you have loved me in the past or if you haven't then I think you might like this because it is a bit different. Then depending on how much excellence you want in your life (hello twirling ribbons, scrunchies, tea towels) you choose how much you want to spend.

I'm so excited to do this with you all and I think the record we're about to co-birth (gross mental picture, sorry), is going to be very VERY special. But here's the thing, if we don't make our target, I don't get any of the money. I don't want that to happen and I doubt you would either so I'm asking, with my best manners (so many pretty's before please), to share this with your mates with good music tastes and kind hearts too. Can't wait to see you at a show to celebrate the album WE made!

Your pledges will be going towards recording these songs in studio with an amazing producer and making them sound as magical as possible, so much so that they will probably make me cry (1000% chance). 

COST BREAKDOWN: 

Studio/Engineer -  $11,500

Musicians (for people with mad skillz to come in and share them with me) - $4,500

Mastering (this makes the songs sound even betterer and ready to go) -  $2000

Rewards costs (making all my weird ideas, eg, ribbions, scrunchies) -  $2000

Postage (to bring them to your door) -  $1000

Pozible fee (Pozible take a 5% fee) - $1150

So I'm only asking for 15k which leaves $7000 and change for me to put towards it because we're both working hard to make this happen. If we get more than we need in total, we'll have a vote for what charitable cause we should donate the excess to.
