Eleanor Dark Biography
Eleanor Dark was one of Australia's finest writers of the 20th century, and Varuna owes its existence today to Eleanor, her husband Dr Eric Dark and their family. This full-length biography of Eleanor Dark draws on restricted letters and papers, her published and unpublished writing, and extensive interviews with family, friends and writer colleagues.

Dinner at Varuna
Be part of dinner at Varuna on a Monday night, when each week we welcome five new writers in residence. Hear from the writers about their projects, and gain an insight into the heart of what goes on at Varuna. Dinner will be served by our much loved cook Sheila, who has become famous among Australian writers for her meals.
